Class Descriptions

20/20/20 – 20 minutes of Cardio, 20 minutes of weights, and 20 minutes of floor work.

Aquatic Survival – This class uses a unique set of prompts and procedures designed to teach both the verbal child and the non-verbal aquatic survival skills.

Ageless Grace – When body, mind and spirit are in balance, it helps improve health and well-being. Reduce stress and keep mind and body responsive.

Aqua Aerobics – Great workout in the pool designed for all fitness levels and ages. This class offers lots of moving, strengthening, and stretching int he water

Aqua Dynamics – An intense cardio challenge in the water with sculpting intervals; excellent for cross training.

Core – This class is designed to challenge your core muscle for a stronger, more flexible, stable and balanced you.

Gentle Yoga– This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements. This class focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility. At times, it will include meditation, breath work, and trigger point release therapy. All levels are welcome, including beginners.

Hard Core – This core class is a 20 minute intense workout that covers all the muscle groups in your midsection! These are not your traditional exercises and modifications will be available.

HIIT 20 – This class consists of 20 minutes of high intensity interval training followed by short periods of rest. This is an amazing calorie burn! SUSPENDED

Kickboxing – Kickboxing is a fusion of boxing, martial arts and aerobics, usually done rhythmically to music. Offering an intense cross-training and total-body workout, it utilizes the training routines used by combat athletes in martial arts, boxing and kickboxing.

REFIT – This routine features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt the body. People don’t have to get fit in order to be fit at REFIT- our workouts are designed for everybody regardless of age, shape, size or ability. REFIT creates a powerful, uplifting fitness experience that lasts well beyond the workout.

Silver Sneakers – Silver Sneakers focuses on stretching/strengthening muscles and increasing flexibility/range of movement, all while improving stability and balance. Moving to music in a group setting seems to replace the “work” in “workout” with fitness fun with friends. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball to offer a wider range of beneficial exercises. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support. All activities during a class can be modified to accommodate varying fitness levels.

Spinning – The ultimate 40 min cardio ride where participants of all fitness levels use specially designed Johnny G Spinner indoor stationary bikes to achieve a dynamic workout for the body and mind. You control your own resistance for the level of intensity you want.

Step & Sculpt – This class consists of 30 minutes of step cardio and 30 minutes of sculpting. The sculpting portion alternates between using weights and doing floor work.

Yoga – This class is designed to increase strength, balance and flexibility while teaching relaxation techniques through Hatha yoga poses and postures.

Zumba – An aerobic fitness class featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance.
